PURPOSE:

Stearalkonium Chloride is an antistatic agent and antimicrobial agent. This is a salt that binds proteins and improves the feel of wet/dry hair, while combing. 

IMPLICATIONS:

Generally non-irritating between cosmetic concentrations of 0 ≤0.1%. It can be irritating to the eyes and respiratory tract through industrial use.
