Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii)

PURPOSE:
Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii is an antioxidant and an emollient. it can aid in moisturizing the hair and assist in maintaining a healthy scalp.
IMPLICATIONS 
Butters coat the hair and can leave a film on your hair and weigh it down if your hair is thin. The film can decrease water loss from the hair, if well moisturized, but can also cause hair to feel dry as it inhibits water to enter the hair shaft.
