Quartenium 26

PURPOSE:
Quartenium 26 is an anti-static conditioning agent. Quaternium-26 is used to improve the appearance and texture of hair. It also acts to prevent the build up of static charges and forms a thin coating on hair.
IMPLICATIONS:
This ingredient is a slight irritant at low concentrations. It Inhibits the hair's ability to absorb moisture by forming a thin film, and requires a detergent/surfactant to remove.
