PURPOSE:
This ingredient structurally has a high concentration of water-holding properties (starch and beta glucan) that will keep hair moisturized. It is also rich in phenols that are an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and UV absorber.
IMPLICATIONS:
This ingredient does coat the hair, but due to its water-holding strucutres, it shouldn't dry the hair out.
