PURPOSE:

Glucoside is mild cleansing and emulsifying agent. It is made from a mixture of fatty alcohols from coconut and glucose, has great skin tolerability and is used as a foam booster. It has a hydrophilic and hydrophobic portion which could indicate its emulsifying capabilities for cleansing.

IMPLICATIONS:

Tolerable on the skin and is not as drying and harsh as regular surfactants.
