PURPOSE:

Ethylhexylglycerin is a softener and solvent. This ingredient is used as a skin-softening agent as well as a carrier/solvent for other ingredients.

IMPLICATIONS:

A few studies have shown that this ingredient is a skin sensitizer. This may only occur at higher concentrations; however, best to avoid if you have sensitive skin.
