PURPOSE:

D-panthenol is used to strengthen and moisturize the hair. Panthenol is an effective humectant and it also forms a protective coating along the hair. It was shown that a treatment, containing panthenol helped slow down and hide the appearance of thinning hair. Vitamin B5 is important in the generation of blood cells and energy so it may contribute to cell regeneration and blood circulation on the scalp.

IMPLICATIONS:

Generally, non-irritating at approved cosmetic concentrations. May be slightly irritating depending on sensitivity.
