PUPORSE:

Cetrimonium Chloride is an antistatic agent and emulsifier.This ingredient is shown to have antimicrobial properties, and great at dispersing the charges along the hair shaft to optimize the dispersion of the product.

IMPLICATIONS:

Generally, non-irritating for use in cosmetic formulations that are rinse off. Concentrations  greater than 0.25% are not recommended for leave-on products.
