Behenoxy Dimenticone

PURPOSE:
An anit-foaming emollient. Allows hair strands to move easily past one another. This ingredient prevents water loss (occlusive properties) by forming barriers around the skin and hair.
IMPLICATIONS:
This ingredient is difficult to rinse away from hair shaft which may result in hair being dry and brittle. Requires detergent/surfactant to remove. Not recommended for curly hair due it's sensitive structure. Safe for use up to concentrations of 0 ≥ 30%.
